What is ACF...

Auburn Christian Fellowship is a non-denominational campus ministry that is working among the students of Auburn University to connect them in a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ, His Word and His community. Our goal is to have students leave AU with a diploma in their hand and a growing devotion to Christ and His Kingdom in their hearts.

COMMUNITY -- building authentic love relationships with God and with others
BECOMING FOLLOWERS OF JESUS -- Patterning ourselves after Jesus and living the life of Jesus formed in us
FAITH -- learning what it means to trust God with our past, in our present and with our future
WORSHIP -- St. Augustine said we were created and called to worship God
PLACE -- a place to belong; a place to ask questions; a place to find love; a place to give yourself away
MISSION -- loving each other and connecting the world to the Love of God

Our History ...
This mission work was begun in the fall of 1978 by Dean and Jill Collins. Perry (studied at Emmanuel and Fuller Seminaries) and Laura Rubin have been working here since the fall of 1993. In the summer of 2007 Cher Carter joined the staff as Assistant Campus Minister a graduate of Baylor University and currently studies at Emmanuel. Kristi Glenn, graduate of Atlanta Christian College and former intern at ACF, joined the team as Assistant Campus Minister in the summer of 2008. From year-to-year we have ministry interns working with us as they seek further direction for their lives. Through our Tuesday Worship, Thursday Outreach Dinner, Growth Groups, retreats, mission trips, … or just having a place to hang out, study, play and pray, ACF is being used by God to draw students towards His heart and His community.
